    The objectives of the exhibition are in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030, to increase the rates of localization of jobs in private sector establishments, by providing a workforce with a distinguished level of skill and productivity, which can keep pace with the state of growth and continued prosperity of the national economy and the great expansion in the volume and diversity of business, which is increasing day after day The Chamber aims for this exhibition to be the best employment option for establishments and job seekers in the Eastern Province.

    The Asharqia Chamber’s initiative to hold employment fairs began in 2013 to reach today the eighth edition, through which employers and human resources, and employment officials can meet and communicate directly with a large number of graduates of all educational disciplines, display available job vacancies and attract the best applicants to work for them, which enhances the position of the national human capital as an active element and a cornerstone of building an integrated national economy.
    The exhibition is witnessing a state of employment momentum; It includes dozens of national institutions and companies with diverse specializations, from retail, transportation, logistics, industry, agriculture, energy, information technology, media, contracting, management, accounting work, and many other professional specializations. about it by conducting direct job interviews.

    Many job seekers or visitors to the exhibition expressed the arrangement and coordination that they witness, giving it an added advantage over the rest of the exhibitions in the ease of entering directly to the exhibition and without the need for attendance registration, as well as ease of roaming and access to companies and national commercial establishments offering jobs, in addition to permanent assistance upon request provided by it. Supervisors and volunteers serve visitors and facilitate direct access to the desired information.​

    By surveying the opinions of a random sample of job seekers of different educational and professional specializations, who flocked to the exhibition on its first day, they confirmed that the exhibition is like an “employment marathon.” A graduate of the College of Architecture and Planning, Department of Building Science and Technology at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University says, He is a recent graduate and was waiting for the employment fair to search through him for the appropriate company that he could join and start his career with, noting that he had conducted more than one interview with recruitment officials in companies at the fair and that he was choosing between the offers presented to him.

    In the opinion of a graduate of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, from the same university, he did not resort to printing his CV for more than one copy, as in the past, during this exhibition. The registration was electronically through the exhibition’s website, saying: (I uploaded my CV electronically and wrote all the requirements), so I did not bring the CV and print it into copies to present to the existing companies, as all my information in the CV was on the website, and during my interviews with About three companies, the recruiter was looking at my resume directly in front of him.​
    While a graduate of Jubail Industrial College praised the organization of the exhibition and the diversity of companies and jobs offered, which provided him with many employment opportunities to choose between companies, saying: He had previously worked in an industrial company and would like to gain other experiences in his field of specialization. By moving to a new company through which he can develop his professional expertise and acquire new skills in his field of specialization, which is the reason for his coming to the exhibition.​

    The exhibition included nearly 20 companies that provided hundreds of jobs in engineering, administrative, medical, technical, and other jobs for groups of people with disabilities, which are commensurate with their capabilities and abilities to reinvest their abilities and empower them, to have an active and influential role in the national economic system and the steady growth and development in various sectors and needs To all working national hands to participate in his development and renaissance process that he is experiencing today in light of the 2030 vision.

    Asharqia Chamber’s interest in the category of people with disabilities is due to its firm conviction of the importance of supporting people with disabilities in finding job opportunities suitable for their qualifications and abilities, and its belief that young people with disabilities are capable of being productive just like others. This is confirmed by the Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Bandar bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, during his interview with the exhibition, that young people with disabilities can participate and be an active and influential element in the work process of companies, and that the state has given them all the rights and benefits of other workers stipulated in the Labor Law or its Executive Regulations. Or in the regulation of work organization for the facility, the Asharqia Chamber created many programs and signed several agreements to support people with disabilities and provide them with new job opportunities in the business sector.
